secrecy

My boyfriend and I have been going out for two years and have been in a physical relationship for almost one and a half years. We are very happy with our relationship and enjoy being in each other's company. Recently one of my friends was the talk of the town because she supposedly had sexual relations with her boyfriend. I know this couple very well and am very supportive of their physical relationship. However I haven’t told a soul that I and my boyfriend are sexually active though I suspect our mutual friends know. I still haven't told my best friends and I don't know how specially after witnessing how people reacted to my friend's relationship.

Issue 1

There is absolutely no reason why you should share your sexual activity with your best friends. It is you and your boyfriend’s secret to keep if you want. I think it is wise of you not to share this information if your friends don’t know how to respect you and your partner’s decision. It is more important for you and your partner to have a healthy, loving and supportive relationship than to have approval from your friends. Best wishes!
