Lets Talk about Sex!

What is a lubricant?

Dear Curious-about-lubricants,

Basically lubricant is a liquid which helps to reduce the friction between two surfaces that are coming in contact. In case of lubricant that is used during sex, it is usually a liquid which makes penetration easy and less painful for the woman and sex more pleasurable for both partners. Lubricants are also used during anal sex for the same purpose. Remember, though, to make sure you use a water based lubricant and not an oil based one (such as Vaseline) when you're using a condom as the latex can break down when it comes in contact with oil. Water based lubricants are easily available in any drug stores.
