Solitude

Chirag Bangdel is a writer, artist and poet. He has freelanced for major papers and journals in Nepal and has written columns for magazines. He is the author of But to Dream, After Midnight, Fermenting Flowers and Uphill Darjeeling–four collections of poetry. His collection of short stories and haikus, Mist Around the Stupa is soon to be published by Chautara Publications, Netherlands. His poems make a unique expression through experimentation with spaces and silence. As an artist, Chirag exhibits regularly in the country and abroad. Chirag is also actively involved with “Voices in the Dark”, a radio play he wrote and directed in 2003, which has been much talked about.
