Darshan Karki
Darshan Karki's passion for photography grew during the April Revolution in 2006. She started out with a borrowed camera and only last year managed to buy her own camera, a Panasonic DMC-FX-10, which is not a high-end camera, but she is happy with it for now. Darshan believes that photography is all about practice and having an eye for details. She takes all sorts of pictures like birds, aeroplanes, sunsets, lakes, boats, flowers, buildings, but she loves taking pictures of people the most. Darshan graduated with a bachelor's in Development Studies from Kathmandu University last year. She loves the act of walking (by choice, not by force due to bandhs) and writing because both have a therapeutic effect on her. View more of Darshan's pictures at www.flickr.com/photos/zaded.
