Prajwol Thapa loves reading books during his free time and they range from the science fiction novels of Issac Assimov to the novels of John Grisham. Lately he has been attempting to read more realistic novels and this has been a completely new experience for him. Prajwol believes that every form of literature gives us an insight into our own lives and the lives of people around us. Literature opens our mind to new horizons and allows us to live thousand different lives through the word of a single author. He is currently doing his bachelor's at United Academy.

  • As I watch the clouds go by,
Another day passes with thoughts and sobriety.
There is no one but me here,
I have no one but a higher power up there.
So, I close my eyes to chant the serenity prayers,
But my sounds disappear in these noisy streets.
No one will ever know my battle.
For I have made my peace with anonymity.
Still I steadily walk this lonely road of redemption,
Hoping to forget and be forgiven.

  • This stony path I have toiled for ages,
Happiness I have forgotten to the shadows of time.
I know this futile work is eternal and so my heart rages,
But still I toil like the monotonous music of a wind-chime.

Now the memories of my free roaming are distant,
This lifeless rock is now my best friend.
My task is futile and I have no time to lament,
But the path downhill is the moment that I most dread.

This small space of time in the vastness of eternity...
