Sam Kang Li

Sam Kang Li spent six fruitful months in Nepal as a photojournalist with Nepali Times. His love for the country was sealed on a long trip out to Bajhang with a United Nations-backed Nepali medical team. He ate curry Danfe and was told he could be executed for it. Even from Singapore where he is based now, he breaks out shouting "Bagmati, Kupundole, Jawalakhel, Lagankhel, Satobato, Satobato!!!!" for no rhyme or reason.
